small talk or inspiring talk

I don’t know if something changed in the world or something is being change in me or, as usual, both. I meet much more interesting people than I use to meet before and small talk is becoming inspiring talk.

I think of the last month when I was traveling (Amsterdam,NYC,Chicago and Boston) and participated in two conferences here in Israel ,the President conference and the IVC (Israeli venture capital) I discovered different people, interesting people who were not afraid to go out of their comfort zones.

If I am trying to count those interesting people , I think I met more than 10 new very interesting people and at least two old ones which I haven't seen for long time.

we all know those small talks meeting which we hate, and complain about.
What do we do in order to change them into interesting meetings? Usually nothing. We just complain on those "empty" and shallow meetings but we don't move them into interesting ones.
we might be too lazy or maybe afraid! Afraid of what they think of us, afraid of taking of our masks, afraid of getting hurt. I know, its business, its culture, its..............you name it. I think its fear!!
Look at people which we admire , they never reached their place by being too ordinary and boring (well, some did.........) , they DID.

Are we also so shallow? Well, we are part of these meeting and others probably say the same about us………

someone have to start it (and those wonderful people that I met , did it, or maybe we did it together) and we will rock the world. we can change the way people communicate, well, at least we can change the way we communicate………………

try to really speak with people, look inside their eyes, try to figure out what they really mean, listen more, speak less, look at the body language, listen to the surrounding, be curious to what they say, listen to your intuition, ask what you really want to know but with passion to the other , don't judge! each of us is different, and most important, don't fake because people see it easily!!

Life can be much simpler if we go with our feelings and not run a way from them,

All of you and the others which share with me some of their thoughts, fears and passion ,you all so brave and taught me a lot about my life , thank you.
